Our Story

We’re John and Kenny, the two dudes behind Motor City Cards & Collectibles, and this is how it all started.

We met while working together and quickly realized we had a lot in common—especially our love for collecting. Growing up in the ‘90s, we were all about ripping packs, chasing big hits, and diving into everything from sports cards to comic books. Life happened, and for a while, the hobby took a back seat. But once we rediscovered it, that passion came rushing back—hard and  2Dudes1Break was born.

With our backgrounds in customer service and sales, we knew we could bring something different to the breaking world. This isn’t just about pulling cards—it’s about the people we meet along the way. The connections. The friendships. The moments we all get to share. Without this hobby, we never would have crossed paths with so many amazing collectors, and that’s what makes this journey so special.
